Recreational Ice Hockey

Braehead Arena accommodates all levels of ice hockey, from the British Elite level Braehead Clan, to the Braehead Junior team.

Recreational ice hockey at Braehead Arena gives everyone, from the age of 18 upwards, the chance to participate in the fastest team game in the world. Recreational ice hockey is played for fun and is a non-contact style of ice hockey, which means that there is no deliberate contact, however, accidental collisions are unavoidable.  

There are many recreational clubs using Braehead Arena, each having members of differing ages, abilities and experience. So anyone looking to join a team should be able to find one suitable to their needs.
