The arena is part of Braehead Shopping Centre. The shopping centre has over 100 stores and a host of leisure facilities to keep all the whole family happy. The centre offers ice skating, curling, a maritime heritage museum and a selection of restaurants. In 2006 Braehead saw the opening of Xscape, an adventure and leisure complex just next door. Xscape is home to a variety of restaurants, shops, a cinema, crazy golf, a climbing wall and Scotland’s largest indoor ski slope to name just a few of their facilities.
